Event Report

It is with a very large smiley face that i would like to announce that the Feel Better Days Holistic fair in aid of St. Margaret's Somerset Hospice raised £358.20 on the day of the event. The day was amazing and i am glad to announce also that we will be doing it again. There is a very long list of people that we would like to thank for helping us and i have included them below:

  • Emma Hidayat Rock (therapist and our very good friend)
  • Dawn Heywood ( my lovely mum ) who kindly helped sell lots of raffle tickets.
  • Trish Sperring (reiki master and best friend) who kindly stepped up and helped us out by performing treatments all in aid of St. Margaret's when one of our therapist was ill.
  • Dave partridge and Kevin Sperring ( my lovely husband and best friend) who kindly ran the cafe for us on the night of the event.
  • Gemma Grant, who helped me run my own stall and kept me sane.
  • The Sea Cadets Hall, who kindly allowed us to use their wonderful facility for the event.
  • Pure Beauty Holistic Therapies (Gillian Hunter) for the kind donation of a treatment voucher.
  • Leena White (OPI) for the kind donation of a lovely nail varnish set.
  • Carol’s Couture, for the kind donation of a fashion consultancy voucher.

  • Bridgwater Book Shop, for their kind donations of a pencil case and purse.
  • Edinburgh Wool Mill, for their kind donation of a beautiful fleece blanket.
  • The Tudor Hotel and Restaurant, for their kind donation of a £10.00 off voucher
  • The Cornhill, for their kind donation of 2 main meals and a bottle of wine.
  • Daeva Designs, for providing wonderful henna tattoos at our event and giving us a gift voucher.
  • Witchity Things, for their kind donation of a tarot reading for free.
  • Emma's Sunkist Tans, for the very kind donation of wine, champagne and rum.
  • Boots the Chemist, for their kind donation of 4 goody bags.
  • Mind, Body & Sole, for providing wonderful foot treatments and also giving us a free foot treatment voucher.
  • Bob’s Hairdressers, for kindly donating a free cut and blow dry.
  • The Roman Baths, for kindly donating 2 free tickets.
  • Mary Moore, for kindly donating a beautiful handmade bag.
  • St. John's Ambulance staff, for kindly donating their time.

I am sure i might have forgotten some people so i apologize for that.

I would also like to say thank you to all of the wonderful people that came along on the day and supported us in our first event, i hope you will all join us again for our next event in aid of St. Margaret's Somerset Hospice ..............more news will follow soon about our next event.
